JIS G3452 Galvanized Steel Pipe

JIS G 3452 is used for piping with relatively low working pressure such as steam, water (except for water supply), oil, gas, air, etc.

Relevant Standard: KS D 3507, ASTM A 53 ,API 5L, DIN 2440 ,DIN2441, BS 1387 /BS 3601

 

 

JIS G3454 carbon steel pipes are used for pressure pipes used at temperatures below about 350°C. However, this does not apply to carbon steel pipes for high-pressure piping. This standard is applicable to pipes with an outside diameter of 10,5 mm (nominal diameter 6A or 1/8B) to 660,4 mm (nominal diameter 650A or 26B). In addition, the items of special quality specifications that the orderer specifies in advance by agreement with the manufacturer.

	b) The method for measuring the outside diameter of tubes exceeding 350mm in outside diameter may be determined by the circumferential length. The mutual conversion of outside diameter D and the circumferential length l shall be by the following formula:      D = l  / π Where D: outside diameter (mm)     l: circumferential length (mm)    π:3.1416
	c) The tolerances on the outside diameter of ends of electric resistance welded and automatic arc welded steel tubes exceeding 350mm in outside diameter shall be ±0.5%.
