ASTM A249 TP304L is a standard specification that covers boiler and heat exchanger tubes that are designed with a 304l stainless steel grade. The ASTM A249 TP304L Tube is an austenitic grade designed with a low-carbon content. These tubes have a chemical composition consisting of chromium and nickel. This gives the tubes enhanced resistance to corrosive and oxidative media. The ASTM A249 TP304L Tubeworks well in a high-temperature setup and showcases enhanced formability allowing them to be shaped in correct dimensions. ASTM A249 TP304L Tube has good resistance to sensitization allowing these tubes to be welded, making use of standard procedures.
