2. Material Characteristics

• STPG370: The carbon content of STPG370 is no more than 0.25%, silicon content is no more than 0.35%, manganese content is between 0.30% and 0.90%, phosphorus content is no more than 0.040%, and sulfur content is no more than 0.040%.

• STPG410: For STPG410, the carbon content is limited to no more than 0.30%, silicon content is no more than 0.35%, manganese content ranges from 0.30% to 1.00%, phosphorus content is capped at 0.040%, and sulfur content is also no more than 0.040%.

3. Mechanical Properties

• STPG370: It has a minimum tensile strength of 373 MPa, a minimum yield strength of 216 MPa, and an elongation of not less than 30% (the specific values may vary slightly depending on different test specimens, such as No. 11 and No. 12 specimens, No. 5 specimen, No. 4 specimen, etc.).

• STPG410: The minimum tensile strength of STPG410 is 412 MPa, the minimum yield strength is 245 MPa, and the elongation is not less than 25% (with different requirements for different test specimens).

4. Manufacturing Process

The pipes can be manufactured by seamless process, electric resistance welding process or butt - welding process. They can also be cold - worked or heat - treated according to specific requirements. The pipes are basically straight, with both ends perpendicular to the pipe axis, and free from defects that may affect the actual use.

5. Application Range

These carbon steel pipes are suitable for use in pressure - bearing systems with temperatures not exceeding 350ºC. They are widely applied in industries such as petroleum, natural gas, chemical engineering, and electric power, where reliable pressure pipelines are required.

6. Inspection and Marking

A series of inspections are carried out, including hydraulic test, flattening test, bending test, etc. Visual inspection is also required to ensure that the pipes are free from defects.
