Seamless pipe may be manufactured by any method that will yield a product meeting the requirements of this specification.
Unless specified, cold worked pipe shall be heat treated at a temperature of not less than 1000°F (538°C). Hot worked pipe finishing above 1400°F (760°C) need not be further heat treated.
