It includes two parts: EN 10210-1 (general requirements) and EN 10210-2 (specific requirements for cold-finished pipes). The standard mandates strict controls on chemical composition, mechanical properties, and dimensional accuracy, ensuring compatibility with EU construction and industrial regulations.
Nominal Diameter (DN): 
Ranges from DN10 (10.2 mm OD) to DN600 (610 mm OD), with DN15-DN300 common for structural use.

Wall Thickness (WT): 
For hot-finished pipes, WT ranges 2.3 mm-40 mm with ±12.5% tolerance; cold-finished pipes have WT 1.5 mm-12 mm with ±10% tolerance.

Straightness:
≤1 mm/m for cold-finished pipes, ensuring easy installation in structural frameworks.

End Finish:
Plain ends (standard) or beveled ends (for welding), with squareness tolerance ≤1% of OD.
Mechanical Stability: High tensile/yield strength resists deformation under operational pressures/temperatures.

Ductility: Excellent elongation allows bending, flanging, and fabrication without failure.
