ASTM B444 Inconel UNS NO6625 Seamless Pipe And Tube For Heat Exchanger
Product Description
Three grades are included in the ASTM B444 standard. Nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloys: Inconel 625 (UNS N06625), UNS N06852. Nickel-chromium-molybdenum-silicon alloy: UNS N06219. Among them, Inconel 625 is the most commonly used. Compared with nickel-chromium alloy, Inconel 625 alloy is added with molybdenum element to further improve the comprehensive corrosion resistance of the alloy. Inconel 625 also contains a certain amount of niobium. Higher strength is obtained by solid solution strengthening. Alloy 400 (UNS N04400) is a nickel-copper alloy with high strength (comparable to structural steel) and toughness. Alloy 400 also has excellent corrosion resistance in a range of media including seawater, sulphuric acid and alkalis. The primary reason for considering these alloys as very useful in manufacturing of high quality tubing products is because it offers high resistance towards oxidation and corrosion, high melting points in both aqueous and high temperatures applications. Nickel based alloys are very ductile and hence easily can be electroplated and welded, thus making them applicable in various industries where extreme and harsh temperatures are important factor. ASTM B444 Seamless Pipes and ASTM B444 Seamless Tubes are applicable in Aviation Industry Ducting System, Aerospace Jet Engine Exhaust System, Engine Thrust Reserve System, Specialized Sea Water Equipments, Chemical Process Equipments, etc
