ASTM A268 TP446 High Chromium Ferritic seamless Stainless Steel Tube
The grade 446 stainless steel is a ferritic, non-heat treatable stainless steel that provides good resistance to high temperature oxidation and corrosion. The following datasheet provides more details of grade 446 stainless steel
TP446-1 seamless stainless steel tube, TP446-1 stainless steel tube, TP446-1 seamless steel tube, TP446-1 heat exchanger tube, TP446-1 recuperator tube, S44660 heat exchanger tube, S44660 condenser tube, S44660 super ferritic steel tube.
Type 410 stainless is a martensitic alloy commonly supplied in the hardened but still machinable condition.
The alloy contains 11.5% chromium which provides good resistance to atmospheric corrosion. However, corrosion resistance is limited unless the alloy is further enhanced by processes including hardening, tempering and polishing. Type 410 displays excellent hardness after heat treatment and the material can be used in the fabrication of highly stressed parts. Weldability of the alloy is generally poor.
ASTM A268 ASME SA 268 TP410 S41000 is a martensitic stainless steel with high mechanical properties and is ferromagnetic in the annealed or hardened condition. 410 contains the minimum amount of chromium to impart stainless steel properties. 410 resists oxidation and scaling up to 1200 degF. Hardness is one of 410's best features; It resists abrasion and wear better than most 300 series stainless steel. Grade 410 is often supplied in the hardened, but still machinable condition, for applications where high strength and moderate heat and corrosion resistance are required

Material magnetic in all conditions.
AISI Type 410 is a martensitic stainless steel that provides high strength and hardness with moderate corrosion resistance. A wide range of properties can be developed with different heat treatments, with ultimate tensile strengths ranging from 500 to 1400 MPa. It is magnetic in both the annealed and hardened conditions. High carbon content results in the formation of chromium carbide compounds, providing excellent wear resistance and edge retention when hardened. Additionally, this grade provides excellent high temperature oxidation and scaling resistance, yet is economical due to the low alloy content. Thermal conductivity is improved and thermal expansion reduced relative to austentic stainless grades.

Grade 410S is a ferritic stainless steel that is a lowcarbon variation of ferritic type 410 stainless steel. Due to the lower level of carbon and the addition oftitanium and/or columbium, this alloy minimizesaustenite formation at higher temperatures. This alsoprevents hardening and prevents cracking whenwelding.
