Specification

Martensitic Steel: 

Can be heat-treated (quenched and tempered) to enhance hardness and strength.

Corrosion Resistance:

Moderate—resists mild acids, water, and air, but less than austenitic grades (e.g., SUS304). Prone to rust in highly corrosive environments (e.g., saltwater).

Mechanical Properties:

High strength (tensile strength ≥440 MPa) and hardness after heat treatment; lower ductility than austenitic steels.

Nominal Diameter (DN): 

Ranges from DN10 (10.2 mm OD) to DN600 (610 mm OD), with DN15-DN300 common for structural use.

Wall Thickness (WT): 

For hot-finished pipes, WT ranges 2.3 mm-40 mm with ±12.5% tolerance; cold-finished pipes have WT 1.5 mm-12 mm with ±10% tolerance.
