Manufacturing method

The manufacturing method shall be as follows:

a) Pipes shall be manufactured by a combination of the pipe-making method and finishing method shown in Table 1. Symbols representing manufacturing methods shall be shown in Table 1. 

b) The pipe shall be heat treated according to Table 2. However, heat treatments other than those listed in Table 2 may be performed by agreement between the parties concerned with delivery. 

c) Pipe ends shall be plain ends unless otherwise specified. 

d) If the pipe is manufactured by electric resistance welding, the outer and inner weld beads shall be removed so as to smoothly follow the shape of the pipe. However, the internal weld bead may be left as welded by agreement between the parties concerned.
